Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall all you gotta do is … get out of the house and start your adventure.

What you were expecting Carly Simon? Get a bike, visit a climbing wall, take some kite boarding lessons, get your self ready to claim your big adventure. Here at AdvenQuest we’ll help you get started. Whether you like to ski the Rockies in winter, mountain bike the Cascades in summer or go bouldering along the St. Croix River in between get out and enjoy nature. Go on a walk and explore nature close to home take a different look at your own back yard. You know all the excuses “I live in the city and there just aren’t any places I feel safe. The “Y” is safe and many of the new YMCAs are putting in climbing walls. Go there and get started.

Heck even in flats of Houston, Texas there is a Kayak shop that teaches you how to run the rapids then takes to the action just a few miles north of the city over the weekend to test your new skills. Now the rapids aren’t the Grand Canyon, but get the skills first and then we’ll help you plan the trip and find the outfitters to make your adventure a success.

Looking for a more laid back adventure. Get that body into shape and head for the relaxing beaches of the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean.

AdvenQuest is a community focused on outdoor fun, discovery, adventure and travel. We are talking safe and sane and adventure for the city dweller who spends most of their waking hours looking forward to the next two weeks vacation. If your into climbing Mt Everest we can recommend a guide, but what we do best is get you to your independent adventure and help you make the right decisions along the way. We have been there and done that. Personally I have traveled the world, doing the American tourist bus travel with my parents as a child and now skiing and traveling with my family – I like it all.

The kids keep us tied to a strict vacation schedule right now, but even with kids you can experience a great adventure. My son first did some buddy breathing with me in Cozumel just outside our rental villa. He is now a certified diver and his first open water dive was at eighty feet in the Bahamas. My daughter at age nine can out maneuver most of the family on the hill whether on skis or a snowboard. My son down right scares me on the slopes! The Spiral Stairs in Telluride is not my cup of tea these days. I much prefer a Plunge of a groomed nature.
